Mayorkas Plays Coy, Becerra Gets Snubbed

Former DHS boss ducks endorsing Becerra for California governor.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the ex-Homeland Security Secretary who couldn’t secure a border if it came with a padlock, just threw his old buddy Xavier Becerra under the bus in the California governor’s race. At Politico’s Security Summit, Mayorkas smirked, “I am agnostic with respect to the California gubernatorial race right now.” Translation: “I’m not touching that dumpster fire with a ten-foot pole.” This is the same guy who oversaw border chaos while Becerra, as HHS Secretary, bungled COVID responses and pushed mandates harder than a used car salesman. Now, Mayorkas pretends he’s above the fray, citing his D.C. residence like it’s a moral high ground. Pathetic.

Let’s be real: Mayorkas isn’t “agnostic”; he’s just spineless. Becerra’s record is a leftist fever dream...suing nuns over contraception and championing healthcare policies that bled California dry. Mayorkas knows endorsing him would be political suicide, especially with Gavin Newsom’s shadow looming over the race like a bad spray tan. These two clowns spent years in Biden’s clown car administration, preaching unity while their policies turned America into a free-for-all. Now, when it’s time to back a fellow flop, Mayorkas bolts for the exit. Typical Democrat loyalty...there when the cameras are rolling, gone when the chips are down.

News flash, Alejandro: You don’t get to play neutral after years of enabling chaos. Your “agnostic” dodge is just another way to say you’re a coward who won’t own the mess you helped create. Stick to D.C., where dodging accountability is a full-time job.

Shut your suck hole, Mayorkas, and quit playing Switzerland while California burns.

Satire. But you knew that.
